Our engineering experience center can be found in Hanover, Germany. The research center with its huge test race track and international renown, the Contidrom brings together the expertise of more than 1000 dedicated scientists, engineers and designers in Europe and the United States. And each new test follows a simple purpose: to make driving safer, all of course according to the highest German standards – for over 140 years and counting.

Before any Continental Innovation goes into production it is tested intensively. The established test methods ensure daily suitability. Continental uses and develops more advanced test measurement technology to provide mature and optimized products. We Test for your safety- worldwide. Throughout the year we repeatedly show that there are no limits to our tire tests, at our test sites in the United States, New Zealand, Sweden, Spain and last but not least at our internal track near Hanover, the Contidrom – which is also a reference track sought after by independent experts. Each of our winter and summer tires from around the world is tested under all kinds of weather conditions and road surface conditions. Needless to say, all this happens with the most modern test methods and measurement technology.
